🚀 Release Announcement: Updated Central Kitchen Screens

We’re excited to share the first stage of improvements to the Central Kitchen (CPU) module in Hops, rolling out later this week.

This update has been driven by your feedback – keeping the same core functionality, but making it much easier to understand, navigate, and follow the flow of your CPU orders.

• Clear separation of CPU Sales & CPU Picking Sheets
  Sales teams can focus on orders, while production teams can focus on picking.

• Three simple statuses: Received → In Production → Invoiced
  A step-by-step flow that’s easier to follow at a glance.

• Improved CPU Item & CPU Production pages
  Cleaner layouts and clearer organisation for faster workflows.

• Streamlined Item Creation Process
  Capture the core information first, then add recipes afterwards.

• Default Item IDs
  The system now auto-generates an Item ID, making it easier to identify products via SKU on orders.

• Faster search
  Quickly find the items you need without unnecessary clicks.

• Deprecation of “CPU Supplier Products”
  Sites can view them like regular Supplier Products, while all CPU management is handled directly within the updated CPU Item pages.

This is stage one of our CPU improvements – aligning the Central Kitchen pages with the rest of Hops. More updates are already in the pipeline, and we’ll continue refining these tools with your input.
